You can also download another great Jammie xx mix this time for BBC 6 Music here.

Hailing from Indonesia, aspiring beat student Maverick hit our facebook page with his Soundcloud link. We were taken back by his promise of talent.
Ranging from Distorted sounds to dark trip hop and like Scream Cheese below, subconscious funk, this is a producer to keep your eye on.
Maverick’s Soundcloud.
UK-based singer/producer Sampha is not new. He has been around for a minute mostly making his mark with various abstract electronic tracks and working heavily with SBTRKT. His Sundanza EP on Young Turks is definitely something to fish out too.
On new piano-based song ‘Indecision’, apparently a demo, he blows his smooth, weathered croon to aural perfection. His voice has the ability to send shivers up your spine.
Ryan Keen is an amazing acoustic folk artist. He is unsigned for now but the things he can do with a guitar are majestic.
And while we have caught him many a time supporting the lovely Lucy Rose at a number of gigs, now it seems soon you will be seeing him as the main headline.
Little Dragon is currently on an international tour for new album Ritual Union. During their stop in Ibiza they offered an impressive live cover of Crystal Water’s timeless dance tune “Gypsy Woman (La Da Dee).” BBC Radio 1 was on location and recorded the audio version that you can check out below, but first the original. Enjoy!
Our old friend Ghostpoet drops his third single from his Mercury Music Prize nominated debut album Peanut Butter Blues and Melancholy Jam. Entitled ‘Liiines’, its Ghost at his best with motivating piano and guitar strings twined with characteristic thoughts.
And if you liked the orignal the addictive remixes from xxxy and Lando Kal will have definitely send you potty. Be sure to purchase at Brownswood Recordings! Enjoy!

This is an off-the-hook live mix from producer, DJ and rapper supreme The Last Skeptik. A mix of original instrumentals as mixed together live on the Livin Proof Radio Show on NTS Live, on May 5th, 2011. The voice you hear over the mix is DJ Snips.
Before heading over to SXSW in Austin, Texas, Jamie Woon sent us Glaswegian electro-head Hudson Mohawke’s remix of his song ‘Lady Luck’. Listen to this monster below.
A warm up to the release of his new, nine-song “non-LP” You Drive Me To Plastic on Young Turks, London based producer Bullion has done a pretty special mix of all the Canterbury bands from the 60/70s such as Robert Wyatt, Gong and Caravan among others.Apparently he got into Caravan a few years back. He then started buying all the vinyl from that scene that he could lay his hands on this is the consequence collection. Slightly trippy with injections of humorous interludes this is magnificently presented.

Canadian music magazine Spinner are previewing Shad K’s new album TSOL, out 25 May, on their website. Shad also takes time to explain the story behind each track, making for an interesting read to go with the great music. As always, the Londoner (from that side of the Atlantic) is on point lyrically, and the beats don’t seem to disappoint.

Yes, three of the last decade’s most innovative artists have formed a super group. While broadcasting on Rinse FM recently, Four Tet let us get a taste of what he, Burial and Radiohead’s Thom Yorke have been up to lately. Listen to ‘Ego’ below.

London’s Gold Panda (who we interviewed a few months back) makes the kind of techno that makes us like techno. Hear his single ‘Marriage’, off last year’s Lucky Shiner, with proper remixes from Starslinger and Baths, among others.

We’ve had our eyes on Mr. Marcus Price for a while now. Working out of Stockholm, Sweden, he an Carli have been delivering seriously danceable tunes for a while.
Crooked Teeth has remixed the pair’s track ‘Cronic in the Back’. It may be early in the week, but we anticipate a big weekend to this tune.

Stones Throw MC and soul vocalist (equally convincing as both, by the way) Aloe Blacc is preparing the release of his debut album Good Things later this year.
He already gave us the splendid ‘I Need A Dollar,’ and now he brings us his and Truth+Soul’s take on The Velvet Underground’s timeless ‘Femme Fatale‘.
NYC independent hip-hop legend J-Live is steadily preparing the release of an EP and album in 2010. First up was ‘The Way that I Rhyme,’ and just ahead of the single release comes its b-side track ‘Poetry in Motion‘.
Beatnik witnessed Justice Allah (as he is also known) tear down the stage at SOB’s in New York on Tuesday, and all we can say is that the new material is something to look out for.
Download both singles at J-Live’s Bandcamp.
J-Live: Poetry In motionDon’t sleep, radio shows are the best way to find new music. And this new radio addition to Spine Magazine fits the bill.
