There is such much amazing new electronica around at the moment and here’s another.

After turning heads last Spring with debut track ‘Blisters’, 18-year-old producer Jack Colleran also known as MMOTHS is about to drop his self titled debut EP on March 5th – for free download.
Disregarding genre conventions, the Ireland-based producer makes the sought of music that melts the soul. Cinematic and calm with hint of sparse synth beauty the sounds are truly mesmerising.

‘Heart’ featuring the aurally seductive vocals of Keep Shelly In Athens, is the first track of the EP, and you can download for free via his facebook.

Made up of producer/instrumentalist Tom Barber and vocalist Tracey Duodu , they are one of our sure picks for 2012. ‘Hide Yourself’ is taken from their superb debut EP of the same name.

To Kill A King don’t sound like your average folk band. Their music composition is the type of thoughtful and emotionally dreamy perspective we have come to love at Beatnik.

And having signed this year to EMI, we have our fingers crossed it all goes well for this promising bunch of lads.

‘Bloody Shirt’ is the first track from their forthcoming E.P — My Crooked Saint. Be sure to check Bastille’s high octane remix of the sleepy original too.

Featuring music of influence and including exclusive tracks from one of his groups, First Person Shooter, the mix travels across minimal electronic landscapes including a strong hyperdub touch.

A great insight into his Fantastic Plastic EP too.

Jessie Ware has been on the underground scene for a minute. She has gained love for lending her captivating voice to projects with Joker, Sampha and SBTRKT, but now she finally is ready to go it alone.

With extended play on cult Rinse FM, fans like us have been eagerly anticipating her debut solo single and ‘Strangest Feeling’ is everything we hoped for. Its a true treat as we wait for her highly anticpated debut album with Dave Okumu from The Invisible — now there’s something special.

UK-based singer/producer Sampha is not new. He has been around for a minute mostly making his mark with various abstract electronic tracks and working heavily with SBTRKT. His Sundanza EP on Young Turks is definitely something to fish out too.

On new piano-based song ‘Indecision’, apparently a demo, he blows his smooth, weathered croon to aural perfection. His voice has the ability to send shivers up your spine.

Ryan Keen is an amazing acoustic folk artist. He is unsigned for now but the things he can do with a guitar are majestic.

And while we have caught him many a time supporting the lovely Lucy Rose at a number of gigs, now it seems soon you will be seeing him as the main headline.

Thank You by Ryan Keen
