Maze Hill are an exciting new band who have signed to Wah Wah 45s.
The brain child of producer Andy Highmore, vocalist Holly Bestic and singer and spoken word artist Joshua Idehen, their lead single starts how they mean to go on.

Debut single ‘Long Haul’, which stems from the bands attitude to music, galvanises influences that include Beach House and Grizzly Bear with lush electronica, soul and jazz elements and deeply catchy vocals. ‘I Can Be Your Light’ , A tender and beautiful duet, has the ability to take your breath away.

You may be familiar with Idehen from his work with UK producer outfit LV on their critically acclaimed Routes album. Or even from his output in London based Afro funk, punk collective Benin City.

In Maze Hill he has found another promising home, as we tip them for huge things next year.

Maze Hill will be doing a stripped down live set at Wah Wah’s event at Scala on November 10th and will be delivering their debut album in the first half of 2013.
