The third EP from shadowy Wolverhampton duo Letherette, Featurette is something this side of special. Its also the EP that sees them leave the excellent Ho Tep Records for the equally absorbing Ninja Tune ahead of a debut album in 2013.

Drawing on Bangalter-inflected house but giving it a rumble and wing, Letherette make infectious, beat-driven music and have rightly so seen support from the likes of Benji B, Gilles Peterson and Brackles.

The releases has other gems like the delicate ‘Surface’ but today we recommend the four to the floor stomper ‘Ettewards’.
