Judging by the whirlwind that’s hit Twitter over the last few days, promoting Washington DC native Oddisee’s latest EP Odd Winter isn’t exactly breaking new music. Nonetheless, we can’t help but push this release. Odd Summer held us down in the summer, now Odd Winter is our frosty season soundtrack.

Aside from the always compelling instrumentals, the MC cameos on here are refreshing. Homeboy Sandman is one to look out for. The EP could have done with some more of Oddisee’s own vocals, he rarely lets you down in the vocal booth, but he must saving that for a later date. For now, this will more than suffice.
