Videos

One for all you old-skool gamers, check out this great and original music video from London producer Richy Pitch – ‘Blackstar‘ feat. M.anifest.

Housing a collage of snapshots from the life of MC M.anifest, as a youngster in Ghana -”it was all a dream, but i never had word up magazine” – the track is a big insight into the premiss of the new album Ye Fre Mi Richy Pitch (My name is Richy Pitch’ in Twi – A Ghanaian language). It hopes to bridge modern electronic sounds with an exciting African Rap theme, much in the same way Diplo& Switch did with Major Lazer.

Reflecting the simplicity of the analogue computer game static on brilliant ‘Blackstarr’, The nuts presentation is deliciously bananas slapping the faces of current uninspired and unimaginative music videos.

Does anyone also see a Roots Manuva twang about M.anifest too?

Blackstar is out on 26th April
Ye Fre Mi Richy Pitch is out on June 7th. Both on BBE Records.
