While most of his fans are eagerly awaiting another solo release from New York MC/producer J-Live, he has been kind enough to bless us with two free mixtapes in the first two months of 2010.

January saw the completion and release of the Do the Knowledge Mixtape, where DJ J-Live takes us through 20-odd recent hip-hop releases, while Chocolate Covered Samples, a mixtape gathering a sweet mix of widely sampled love songs, dropped this month.
