After an extensive hiatus, the 1960’s and 70’s pioneer of spoken word and soul music as told from the heart of Harlem, New York, Gil Scott-Heron, released his comeback album I’m New Here in February this year.
The video for the single with the same name was just released, and though it feels a tad absurd that Scott-Heron is the subject of a 2010 marketing campaign, the video fits the eloquent song.
