Erykah Badu is in the middle of executing a clever marketing plan for her new album New Amerykah Part II (Return of the Ankh). In February, she bombarded the airwaves with a teaser/bonus track off the album, ‘Jump Up in the Air and Stay There‘ ft. Bilal and Lil Wayne, which has been recorded in another 8 versions with different MC’s on it. And now, Ms. Badu has now given us a (makeshift) video for the first single ‘Window Seat’ over at her website.

Maybe the most exciting thing about her first single since 2008 is that it is produced by The Soulquarians, the legendary production team that now consists of Questlove and James Poyser went in on this one. Watch Badu and The Roots perform the song at Jimmy Fallon below:
